Health Guidelines for the 2021-22 School Year
Our health measures are in accordance with guidance from local and national health agencies who strongly recommend we take a layered approach to mitigating COVID-19. This means using multiple mitigation measures layered to prevent its spread.
Secretary of Agriculture Visits Fulton
On Monday, May 10, the Secretary of the US Department of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, visited Fulton Academy of Excellence. He was joined by Congressman Jason Crow and Colorado Governor Jared Polis. Secretary Vilsack spoke with some Fulton parents about the free food distribution program that happened last summer at Fulton and other APS sites. The free food will continue to be provided throughout the summer of 2021. The Secretary, Congressman, and Governor briefly visited Mrs. Farnell's 5th grade class and passed out lunches. Superintendent Rico Munn and Nutrition Services Director Shannon Solomon took a few minutes to celebrate Fulton's cafeteria staff as part of the visit. Fulton was honored to host leaders from our state and nation.
