The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is a multiple-choice K-12 assessment that measures reasoning skills within the verbal, quantitative and nonverbal domains. The CogAT is a group-administered aptitude test given to help with the identification of students who would benefit from advanced academics and gifted services.
